How to manage customers in Cash Flow Inventory :

Login> Dashboard> Contacts> Customers

Click the “Add new” button (in the right side/ right bottom corner for mobile view) a pop up window open, then fill customers information.

Fill up customer information and click the save to store information.

Important Keys You have to Know:

Contact Id : Only required field Contact Id ( must be unique).

Status : Currently active or inactive.

Payment Terms : Like Cash, Due on Receipt, Net 10 (10 Days), Net 15 (15 Days), Net 30 (30 Days), Net 60 (60 Days), Net 90 (90 Days).

Opening Balance Type : (At the opening of customer id) Payable (Your business have to pay back (to customer) money or products or services equal to payable amount ) or Receivable (Your business have to collect payments from the customers ).

Opening Balance Amount : Opening payable or receivable amount.

Current Balance Type : Current status but same as opening balance type.

Current Balance Amount : Current payable or receivable amount.

Unused Balance : Not used balance and can use in future for purchase product (customer) or make payment.

Default Location : The customer usually use this location, but you can manage orders or payments or other operations and can change default location anytime for any customer.

Edit Customer’s Information :

Click the customer id which you want to edit.

Click edit icon

Edit information and click save.

Delete a Customer

In the right side of customers list have a delete icon

You can not delete a customer when a customer has items or sales or payment entries.

First you have to delete those entries then you can delete that customer. Rather you can inactive those customers.

Bulk Action :

Bulk Actions is to identify and select multiple Issues in a search and assign them to a particular Agent, Queue or Bot, or add tags to sort them into a Smart View. This gives Agents the ability to bulk respond and resolve Issues after a closer inspection.

Bulk Update :

Merge :

Mark as Active: Active all selected inactive id’s just one click.

Mark as Inactive: Inactive all selected active id’s just one click.

Bulk Delete: Delete all selected id’s just one click.

Receivable and Payable management:

In the customers section you can two navigation receivable and payable.

In the receivable you find all the dues from customers you have to collect in three different segment have to collect today, missing payment dates and upcoming payments.

On the other hand, Payable (Customer) is the balance of customer’s you have to return money or give products against the balance. Customer payable created when customer give undefined advance payment or customer return products but not taken money against the return product.

Search and managing customers:

To manage customers and their accounts it’s important to search and find customers easily and effectively. Cash Flow Inventory has nice features to filter customers in different segments like customer id, billing name, billing email, billing phone, register or entry date range, and active status.

Cash flow inventory makes it easy to find any customer fast and you can easily manage their accounts, payments, shipments, and contacts.
